FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

The things students and parents ask us most often.

Can I get a loan in Kerala for a college in Karnataka?

Yes. As long as the Karnataka college is approved (RGUHS / INC / AICTE), banks will fund it, and you can usually apply at a branch near your home in Kerala.

Do I need collateral?

Often, no. Nationalised banks lend up to ₹7.5 lakh with no collateral. We check this for you first.

What if my family income is low?

You can still get an education loan up to ₹7.5 lakh without collateral from a nationalised bank. We help you through it.

Do I pay my fees through Vidhyapay?

No. Once your loan is approved, the bank sends the money directly to your college. Our job is to help you get that approval.

Does Vidhyapay charge me?

No platform fee for our loan guidance. We're a facilitator.

Are you a bank?

No. We help you get a loan from a bank. The bank makes the final decision on approval and terms.

What courses are covered?

All approved professional courses — nursing, engineering, allied health, management, law and more.

How long does approval take?

It varies by bank and branch, usually a few weeks. We help you plan around your admission deadline.

What documents will I need?

Admission letter, fee structure, mark sheets, ID/address proof, income proof, and a co-applicant. We give you the exact checklist.
